I was really looking forward to a relaxing getaway at the Peppers resort in Kingscliff, but I left feeling quite disappointed. The location is great, close to the beach and some nice walking paths, but the accommodation itself really needs an update. While some staff were friendly, it felt like they were more interested in defending the property's condition rather than addressing our concerns. The cleanliness and maintenance standards were definitely lacking for a place that promotes itself as a luxury resort.
Rooms
5.0
The rooms were very small, and despite being at the back of the apartment for some quiet, they weren't quite as clean as I had hoped. It felt cramped, especially for the price we paid.
Service
6.0
The service was generally nice, but I did notice a lack of responsiveness to feedback, which was a disappointment.
Location
9.0
The resort's location is excellent, being close to the beach and having lovely walking tracks around the area, which I really enjoyed.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was a letdown for me; the options felt limited and not very fresh, especially given the resort's pricing.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities looked promising but were not well maintained, which was surprising for a resort of this caliber.

I recently stayed for a two-night getaway, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is located within a short walk to a stunning beach and offers great dining options nearby. However, my room left something to be desired, especially with noise from outside and bright lights that made it hard to sleep well. It seems better suited for families than solo travelers like myself.
Rooms
6.0
My room was not completely soundproof and had bright lights shining in, which disrupted my sleep. I would have preferred more shelving and space, especially in a resort setting.
Service
8.0
The staff was quite welcoming and helpful during my stay, though there were moments of confusion, especially regarding parking details upon check-in.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is fantastic, just a short stroll from a beautiful beach, with plenty of restaurants and cafes close by.
Dining
7.0
I didn't get to try much of the dining options, but I did find the breakfast selections could have been better with more fruits and salads available.
Facilities
8.0
The pool facilities were good, offering a nice spot to relax, although I noted some lounges were already taken early in the day.

We had a lovely family trip during Easter. The resort is situated in a green space close to beautiful beaches, ideal for both relaxation and activities, like biking. However, the breakfast experience was overcrowded and not worth the extra cost, which detracted from an otherwise great stay.
Rooms
9.0
Our room was great, well-equipped, and very clean with a beautiful garden view. It was spacious and comfortable for our family, perfect for returning after a day at the beach.
Service
7.0
While the restaurant staff seemed overwhelmed during busy periods, the overall service was satisfactory. I appreciated having activities organized for our family.
Location
8.0
The resort is nicely positioned between Casuarina and Kingscliff, making it a pleasant walk or bike ride to nearby shops and restaurants. The proximity to the beach adds to its charm.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast service was quite chaotic and overcrowded, which diminished the experience. I wouldn't choose this option again as it felt rushed and the coffee wasn't included.
Facilities
6.0
The resort offers a variety of activities and has a nice pool area. However, ongoing building works were disruptive during the day.

We had a wonderful stay at Peppers at Salt. The one-bedroom apartment was comfortable and well-equipped, but it did feel a bit loud at times due to the nearby pool activities. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which added to our experience. However, it was a little disappointing that the pool area could get crowded with kids, making it hard to relax. Overall, it's a great place for families looking for fun and comfort.
Rooms

The one-bedroom apartment was spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. However, the noise from the tropical pool was a bit disruptive during the day.
Service

The location is beautiful, with easy access to the beach. However, I noticed some litter around, which took away from the overall experience.

The resort has a great spot near the beach and plenty of shops and eateries within walking distance. The rooms are decent but could definitely use some updates, and the service left me wanting more. While it's great for families with kids enjoying the pools, the fitness facilities really aren't up to par. Overall, I might consider staying again but with lower expectations.
Rooms
6.0
The rooms were decent but had issues like stained throws and minor water damage.
Service
5.0
Service at the front desk could have been more engaging, and I had to chase down fresh towels during my stay.
Location
9.0
The location is fantastic, close to the beach and local dining and shopping.
Dining
5.0
The included breakfast had a good selection, but the hot food was cold on two occasions.
Facilities
6.0
The fitness center was unfortunately very lacking, and the main pool was nice but crowded with families.
